the venue was peaceful, i really enjoyed the stay and the location was magnificent really close to the ijssel river, the ferry across the river, and restaurants and a beautiful square.

My hotel room was large and well-appointed with comfy beds. Could use central heating, a seating area, and an electric kettle. Stunning location near to the IJssel river and the pittoreske town center, I felt safe.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the decor throughout the property was authentic and beautiful. a unique and enjoyable experience.

The owner, who compared himself to Basil Fawlty, was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The breakfast table was overflowing with delicious options, and the short walk to the passenger ferry made exploring Deventer a breeze. Plenty of free parking was an added bonus.

As bike riders, we loved the location of the hotel. It was just a short walk through the park to the ferry that took us across to the city center. the breakfast spread was fantastic and energized us for our bike rides. Sitting at the same table as other guests added to the friendly and communal atmosphere.
